Wound Management Technologies, Inc. is an emerging commercial stage company with its primary products in the $5B worldwide advanced wound care market.

Wound Management’s primary focus is the distribution of its unique, patented collagen product, CellerateRX®, which is FDA cleared and reimbursable under Medicare Part B. Wound Management has other advanced biotech products in development including a patented resorbable bone wax line that is in late stages of development, as well as a subsidiary focused on technology for secure healthcare communications, data collaboration and storage.

Rapid revenue growth is projected from our leading FDA cleared CellerateRX wound care products, which recent market and clinical validations show to be clinically cost effective with broad uses. CellerateRX has a competitive proprietary feature and performance advantages over other collagen-based products. It is available in powder (95% collagen) and gel (65%) forms that don’t need special handling (like refrigeration). It is active in all 4 phases of wound healing. As CellerateRX revenues grow, the company is positioned to become cash flow positive and profitable in 12-18 months.

The shares of Reliable Energy Ltd. ( CVE:REL ), (PINK:RELZF) did it once again.

The shares of Reliable Energy Ltd. (CVE:REL), (PINK:RELZF) did it once again. They came up with another volume spike on the Canadian Market. It happened after the company filed its 2010 financial and operational results on SEDAR. Unfortunately, the rise of the price was much more modest.

Yesterday, REL went less than 2% up, closing the trade at $0.53. It was the volume that made much better impression here – more than 2.9M shares were turned over during the session. This surpasses three times the average trading activity of the shares.

The modest change in the price is probably no big surprise. In late March, just ten sessions ago, REL had noted an all-time high of $0.55. Currently, the shares are very close to this peak. The stock is probably not ready yet to go beyond that level and set new price records. Nevertheless, nobody can deny the solid share performance since the start of the year.

In the beginning of 2011, REL was traded at $0.325, at present it is worth 63% more. No doubt, this is a huge gain for the stock. The shares’ stir from yesterday was perhaps related with the announced by the company last year’s fiscal and operational results. Reliable Energy was pleased to inform the public about its financial achievements in 2010.

Most of the investors are probably already acquainted with the company’s releases from Monday. We shall mention just some of the highlights; the figures sound positive indeed:

Reliable recorded increased annual production from 106 to 333 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), a rise of 214%. Respectfully, gross revenue jumped by 284% – from $2.5M to $9.4M;

The company reported a significant growth in its oil and gas reserves. As at Dec. 31, 2010, Reliable had 1,352 Mbbl (thousand barrels) of proved and probable reserves, an increase of 143% over the year.

Mr. Swanson, the company’s president, even defined 2010 as Reliable’s “most successful year since operations began in 2005″. There are, however, several negative facts regarding the company that also need to be mentioned. Despite the rise in the revenue, Reliable continues to record losses. The net negative income for 2010 is $0.30M. Moreover, the company reported a working capital deficiency of $2.6M at the end of last year.

In view of this, some people might wonder whether Reliable will secure enough funds for the successful completion of its $22.2M capital program announced in January.

Since Monday, the shares of PC Gold Inc. ( TSE:PKL ), (PINK:PCGLF) have been steadily climbing up

Since Monday, the shares of PC Gold Inc. (TSE:PKL), (PINK:PCGLF) have been steadily climbing up. Over the last two sessions, PKL has soared 30% on daily trading volumes thrice the average for the company.

Most probably the surge is driven by a release from the beginning of this week. The company announced the largest by far gold discovery in its Pickle Crow mine property in north-western Ontario. The gold has been intercepted in three new widely spaced diamond drill holes.

Obviously, investors were greatly stirred upon hearing the news, and the huge buying of PC Gold shares began. It was additionally backed up by several online alerts on the stock.

Further support to the shares’ rise might have come from the relatively sound financials of PC Gold Inc. As of Sep. 30, 2010 the company reported almost $9M in working capital and cash of $9.55M. Besides, at the beginning of December it raised additional funds after completing a $10M bought-deal offering. Currently, PC Gold has no long-term debt whatsoever.

But things are not so bright as they seem. The company continues to incur losses. For the Q3 of 2010 the negative net income was $285K, and there is a $686K cash loss from operating activity.

Although PC Gold has sufficient capital to meet its current needs, it will certainly require additional cash in the long-run to finance properly the further exploration of the Pickle Crow property.

All these considerations make it hard to foresee how the shares’ price will alter in the future and whether the investors’ enthusiasm about the gold discovery will soon fade out. PKL is entering the overbought area, but we cannot say for how long it will remain there.

After a series of losses, Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. (OTC:ACTC) is flying up again. The up move started during the last days of 2010 and this year the movement of the stock is just about to be seen.

After a series of losses, Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. (OTC:ACTC) is flying up again. The up move started during the last days of 2010 and this year the movement of the stock is just about to be seen.

Along with the price jump, last Friday traded volume of ACTC reached shocking values, exceeding 53 million shares for a day. But what is the reason for the sudden stock flight?

Historical records show that ACT was lastly promoted on Dec 20 when the stock price jumped up. However, it fell down shortly and remained in the low-trade zone until last week. On Thursday, ACT published a positive announcement about its business, reporting the entry into a securities purchase agreement with Socius CG II, Ltd. According to the agreement, Socius has purchased 400 shares of Series C Preferred for an aggregate purchase price of $4 million. ACT also expected to end the year with approximately $15 million in cash and equivalents and less than $1 million of debt.[BANNER]

After Mr. Gary Rabin, ACT’s Interim Chairman and CEO, stated that his company was entering the new year “in its strongest financial position ever”, the investors’ attention was immediately provoked and the high trade for ACT was on. The only question is how long it’s going to resist this time.

According to the charts, the price change of ACTC has changed sharply over the past months and every time it went up the stock was back down soon. Usually, the reason for the up move was the positive PR strategy of ACT and the stock promotions, though none of these could hold the uptrend much long.

Despite its recently eliminated debt and the new material agreements, the financials of ACT still look disappointing. According to its last 10-Q report, by end-September the company’s liabilities were more than six times higher than its total assets and the operating loss was not covered.

The management team of ACT claimed that due to their limited operating history, “If we continue to suffer losses as we have in the past, investors may not receive any return on their investment”. Now the company states that 2011 will be stronger than ever, however, the results are yet to be seen.

On Friday the share price of Lpath, Inc. ( OTC:LPTN ) stock dropped below the normal trading range on the highest trading volume ever. No news has been issued, but recently the company registered with the SEC some newly issued shares.

On Friday the share price of Lpath, Inc. (OTC:LPTN) stock dropped below the normal trading range on the highest trading volume ever. No news has been issued, but recently the company registered with the SEC some newly issued shares.

LPTN stock price fell by 12.79% and closed at $0.75 in the last trading session. Trading volume of 2.13 million shares was a record since the stock is traded on the OTC market. That massive sell-off happens on no recent news from the company, though some previous events might give the answer to traders.

Around two weeks ago, Lpath filed a registration statement with the SEC for a total of nearly 11 million shares. After the registration statement becomes effective, the selling shareholders should be able to offer the shares on the open market on a continuous basis. Almost 6.98 million of the registered shares are those issued in the private placement in November this year at a price of $0.7 per share. Lpath raised gross proceeds of $4.9 million, not the planned $5 million, in order to be able to conduct its planned research and development activities over the next year.

Also included in the registration statement were the 3.63 million shares issuable upon exercise of warrants granted to the investors and to the placement agents in connection with the offering. The rest of the new shares represent shares issuable upon exercise of warrants granted pursuant to anti-dilution rights of the investors from former private placements in August 2008 and in April and June 2007.

Although most of the warrants have an exercise price of $1, which is far above the current market price and are unlikely to be exercised soon, it looks like investors anticipated on Friday significant increase in the last known total number of LPTN shares outstanding.

Despite the raised cash, because of an increase in the fair value of the company’s warrant liability, as of end-September 2010 LPTN net tangible value became negative. Lpath had $4.92 million in total assets and $5.90 million in total liabilities.

As opposed to many expectations based on the common practice that on public offering news the share price of a stock soars, yesterday Magindustries Corp. (TSE:MAA), (PINK:MAAFF ) stock followed the slogan of the company and met the demand, “from the Ground up”.

MAA stock entered the trading session 12.68% lower than the previous session close and closed the market with the minor 0.045% price decline.

The giant doji of investor uncertainty towards the share price direction and the almost four times higher volume traded were in unison not only with the temporary trading halt of the shares.

Looks like investors’ desire was to equalize the share price with the one proposed in the prospectus for the public offering.

Yesterday, the company’s amended and restated preliminary short form prospectus was filed with SEDAR. It is offering up to 33,400,000 common shares of MagIndustries Corp. at a price of $0.30 per offered share.

According to the prospectus, after deducting the underwriters’ fee and the expenses of the offering, the estimated net proceeds from the offering are approximately $9.07 million. As stated there, “these funds will be combined with the company’s working capital of approximately $10.0 million (as at October 31, 2010) for a total of approximately $19.1 million in available funds upon completion of the offering”.[BANNER]

Magindustries Corp. plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, on-going project development activities and working capital requirements.

After the furious October for the investors of the good performing MAA, yesterday the status quo of the met demand “from the Ground up” was returned. In a day, the huge portion of the accumulated for more than a month value of MAA stock was lost.

Investors’ green energy meter stopped at a closing price of $0.295 for APV shares, not overcoming the psychological limit that could make the price go higher.
