Two promotional alerts sent the stock of ActionView International, Inc. (PINK:AVEW) skyrocketing on Feb. 18, when the latest market session took place. While the price differential was not indicative of any significant surge whatsoever, it was the traded volume that hit a 52-week high with more than 94 million shares changing hands, or 24 times higher than the ADTV.

Managed by CEO Joe Wooten, AVEW has focused on offering high-definition pay-per-view events over the Internet. It aims to promote its World Championship Full Contact series to a wider audience as well. The venture appears to be gradually gathering pace as the company has been adding new locations every now and then.

While Wooten’s reputation is still far from controversial, that of Tamara Traveller – the company’s Secretary and Treasurer – is highly questionable. Back in 2008, the SEC initiated legal proceedings against her husband Shane Traveller for accounting fraud. In spite of the amicable resolution of the issue, Traveller was imposed a five-year ban on practicing as an accountant before the commission. Considering the precarious financial situation of AVEW revealed by its Q3 of 2010, all these suggestions might end up being not too far from the truth. An information technology company operating worldwide, Unisys Coporation (NYSE:UIS) has surprised many investors by its released earnings results. Just after the announcement, the stock gained trading volume of almost 5 million, while the price jumped up by almost 20%, from $29.34 to 34.96.

What did investors find out about the financial situation of the company? Unisys announced better earnings per share than expected: from $2.29 it increased up to $2.64. In addition, for the full year of 2010, the company reported net income of $236.1 million compared to $189.3 million in 2009. Meanwhile, full year income increased by 2% (from 218.2 million dollars to 222.9 million dollars).

Although many investors didn’t expect the financials of the company to be so positive, it seems that UIS is able to go higher and higher, especially when there is still enough place for the company to develop. [BANNER]

After the gain on Friday, DAULTON CAPITAL CORP NEW (OTC:DUCP) fell down again yesterday. The stock lost 12% on the market, while its traded volume exceeded 1 million shares for the day. A shocking value for DUCP as compared to its average 3-month volume of approximately 61 thousand shares.

Most probably, that’s a sign that traders are not much certain about the stock and they dump their shares, while the price constantly jumps up and down.

According to the records, the trading range of DUCP is currently around $0.22, however, the stock’s market position doesn’t look much stable.[BANNER]

It turns out that recently the company has tried to push up its stock by promotions, though with no positive results. Apparently, discouraged by the missing news on Daulton’s operations, the investors have been losing their enthusiasm about the stock.

On its website the corporation reported it was negotiating an option agreement on two key Gold Projects in Canada, however, the date when the news was published is unknown. But judging by the last sentence: “A drill program is being plan for early 2010 field season”, we may assume that the announcement has already expired.

The only information available on Daulton is its financial report, which looks almost empty of revenues and cash resources and shows that the company’s liabilities are higher than the other values on its balance sheet.

According to its quarterly report, DUCP intends to generate profits through the excavation of mining prospects. However, the company “will need to raise the funds required for excavation from third parties”, as well as to cover its stockholders’ deficit of over $82 thousand.

Maybe the company has “pumping shares disease” that soon even the best anti-allergy product will not be able to prevent from becoming a long term failure.

It is not surprising that the company gives as a compensation 4 040 000 free trading shares to 18 companies to promote their stock. Further more, most of those companies are offering services like blogs, Chat Rooms, E-mail, investor communications, investor network media. After getting the free trading shares these guys will likely dump them all while the price is still hot. Beware of upcoming stock flood!
